ANERKENNUNG DER NACHHALTIGEN GESTALTUNG VON HAFENSTÄDTEN

Der AIVP-Preis Antoine Rufenacht ist die einzige internationale Auszeichnung für Hafenstädte, die ein herausragendes Entwicklungsprojekt durchgeführt haben die zur Verbesserung der Beziehungen zwischen den Hafenstädten beiträgt

Wer kann sich bewerben? ?

Der AIVP-Preis Antoine Rufenacht ist offen für Hafenbehörden und/oder lokale oder regionale Behörden aus See- und Binnenhafenstädten, sowohl für AIVP-Mitglieder als auch für Nicht-AIVP-Mitglieder.

Um förderfähig zu sein, müssen die Bewerber die folgenden Kriterien erfüllen:

Schnittstelle Stadthafen: Das Projekt muss in einer städtischen Hafenschnittstellenzone und/oder auf einem ehemaligen Hafengelände angesiedelt sein.
Fertigstellung: Das Projekt muss in den letzten drei Jahren abgeschlossen worden sein.
Förderung der globalen Entwicklung: Das Projekt muss eine globale Entwicklungsstrategie für die Hafenstadt fördern.
Nachhaltige Entwicklung: Das Projekt muss in Einklang mit den Zielen der nachhaltigen Entwicklung stehen, die von der Agenda 2030 des AIVP.

Wichtige Daten

Vom 11. März bis zum 23. Juni 2024: Vorbereitung und Einreichung von Anträgen;
5. und 6. September 2024: Persönliche Sitzung des Expertengremiums zur Auswahl der Finalistenprojekte;
10. und 11. Oktober 2024: Persönliche Sitzung der Großen Jury in Le Havre (Frankreich), Interview mit dem Finalisten, Auswahl des Gewinners;
27., 28. und 29. November 2024: Bekanntgabe des Gewinners und offizielle Preisverleihung während der AIVP-Weltkonferenz in Lissabon (Portugal)

AIVP-Preis Antoine Rufenacht technisches Dokument

Antoine Rufenacht, ein hoch angesehener französischer Geschäftsmann und Politiker, war von 1995 bis 2010 Bürgermeister der Stadt Le Havre. Außerdem war er von 1988 bis 2002 Gründungsvorsitzender des AIVP.

Er war in erster Linie ein Mann aus Le Havre, ein engagierter Bürger dieser französischen Hafenstadt, die während des Zweiten Weltkriegs unter großen Schwierigkeiten litt.

Er erkannte schnell die Zusammenhänge zwischen dem Einfluss einer Stadt und der Attraktivität des Hafens und erkannte, dass es für beide Seiten von Vorteil ist, die Grenzen zwischen Stadt und Hafen zu überwinden.

Alles, was er tat, war von seinem visionären Entwicklungskonzept geleitet, das aus einer Reihe ineinandergreifender Schritte bestand, die ein kohärentes und untrennbares Ganzes bildeten, das sein Verständnis der Globalisierung und der Rolle der Hafenstädte in der Welt, seine Aufgeschlossenheit und seine Ambitionen für Le Havre miteinander verband.

Seine Bemühungen haben das Image und die Identität seiner Stadt grundlegend verändert.

Erklärung zum 74. Welttag der Städteplanung

PLANUNG VON MASSNAHMEN FÜR EINE GERECHTE
ÜBERGANG ZU EINER NETTO-NULL-NUTZUNG
KLIMARESILIENTE WELT

Jeder Mensch und jede Gemeinschaft auf der Welt
ist heute durch eine Verschärfung des Klimas bedroht
und Biodiversitätsnotstand, verstärkt durch
Konflikte, der Druck der demografischen und
andere gesellschaftliche Veränderungen und die anhaltende
das Erbe der Pandemie.

Das Globale Planer-Netzwerk (GPN)-die
größte Zusammenkunft von nationalen und internationalen
Planungsverbände - dringender Handlungsbedarf
um eine weitere irreversible Verschlechterung der
die Natur und die nachteiligen Auswirkungen auf
Gemeinden global vor dem Fenster für

Nach unserer Erklärung von Kattowitz im Juni
2022, bekräftigen wir, dass es keine
nachhaltige Entwicklung ohne
nachhaltige Urbanisierung und keine

erfordert politische Unterstützung, finanzielle und
Investitionen in Humanressourcen und authentische
Ermächtigung und Engagement der Gemeinschaft.

Als Planer fordern wir die Nationen und Städte dazu auf
dringend eine umfassende und ehrgeizige
Klimamaßnahmen zur Stärkung der Widerstandsfähigkeit,
Unterstützung einer gerechter Übergang zu einer Netto-Nullstellung
Wirtschaftund eine schnellere Umsetzung der
Pariser Abkommen. Die Pläne müssen sich auf Folgendes stützen
nachhaltigere Verkehrssysteme,
bessere Luftqualität, mehr Schutz für unsere Umwelt
natürliche Umwelt, weniger Armut und
geringerer Verbrauch von Ressourcen, Energie
und nichtökologische Waren und Lebensmittel.

Um dies zu erreichen, setzen wir uns für bessere
menschlich und technisch Ressourcen für
Planung Institutionen und Funktionen sowie für
Stärkung der subnationalen Regierungen bei der Verwaltung
Landentwicklung, damit die lokalen und nationalen
Pläne rasch an die Vereinigten Staaten angepasst werden können
Nationen Ziele für nachhaltige Entwicklung
und die Neue städtische Agenda.

Dies bedeutet, dass die Planung neu konzipiert werden muss, damit die
Lektionen über die Grenzen des Wachstums in einer
Planet mit endlichen Ressourcen kann geteilt werden durch
Gesellschaft. Die Annahme einer Natur und ortsbezogen
Anfahrt zum Klimanotstand und
Die Bekämpfung der Ungleichheit erfordert Zusammenarbeit
in der Planung und in verwandten Berufen, in der Zivilgesellschaft
Gesellschaft und dem privaten Sektor. Außerdem
erfordert einen flexiblen Ansatz zur Förderung der
Innovation, Lernen und Anpassung.

Der Schlüssel dazu wird die Schaffung von Kapazität zu ermöglichen
für wirksam, strategisch und partizipativ
Planung sowohl auf regionaler als auch auf nationaler Ebene.
Es wird auch wichtig sein, Folgendes zu berücksichtigen
Ungleichheiten und Einbeziehung der Stimmen derjenigen
die am meisten von der Klimakatastrophe bedroht sind, in
unsere Pläne. Die Planung kann auch koordinieren
Infrastrukturinvestitionen zur Unterstützung der direkten
wo und was wir bauen, wie wir es bauen, und
wie wir uns fortbewegen.

Stadt-Regionen stehen an der Spitze der aktuellen
Notfälle. Wirksame Planung nutzen
Ansätze über sie hinweg eine Rolle spielen können
eine wichtige Rolle bei der Bewältigung der Herausforderungen
des Klimawandels. Lokale Regierungen, indem sie
aufgrund ihrer engen Beziehungen zu
Unternehmen, Einwohner und Institutionen, auch
die Möglichkeit bieten, neue Politiken zu
als Reaktion auf drängende Probleme schnell umgesetzt
Soziales, Umwelt und Wirtschaft
Herausforderungen. Zusammenarbeit in weiteren Bereichen,
können sie zusätzliche Maßnahmen ergreifen, um
diese Herausforderungen wirksam zu bewältigen.

Lokale Planungsfunktionen sind der Schlüssel zu
Mobilisierung von Ressourcen, Umverteilung von Land
Wertzuwächse und die Bereitstellung von wirklich integrativen
ortsbezogene Lösungen für das Klima
Anpassung und Abmilderung die
Gemeinschaften beeinflussen, mitproduzieren und besitzen können.
Dies ist auch für eine nachhaltige
ländlich Entwicklung.

Es ist die feste Überzeugung der Global Planners
Netzwerk, das Planer in der ganzen Welt
über die einzigartigen Fähigkeiten, Talente, Wünsche und
Engagement zur Bewältigung der globalen Krise, die wir jetzt
Gesicht. Die Planer sind bereit, ihren Beitrag zu leisten
um transformative Veränderungen für ein
eine bessere, gerechtere und nachhaltigere Zukunft.

in Buenos Aires im Jahr 1949, und heute feiern Planer aus über 30 Ländern diesen Anlass mit Vorträgen,
Schulwettbewerbe, Spendensammlungen, Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltungen, Planungspreise und Straßenfeste.

Die nächste AIVP-Konferenz findet im November statt 16., 17. und 18. Dezember 2023 in Venedig, in Italienzum Thema: Verknüpfung von Häfen und Bürgern: Eine gemeinsame Vision für die Zukunft. Die AIVP in Zusammenarbeit mit dem North Adriatic Sea Port Authority - Häfen von Venedig und Chioggia bietet ein reichhaltiges Programm mit Sitzungen, in denen unter anderem der Bürgerdialog bei der Umsetzung von Lösungen für die Energiewende, den Klimawandel und widerstandsfähige Hafenstädte diskutiert wird.

The quality of construction in the light of the various new regulations: an interprofessional approach

On Friday 30 June2023, ECTP-CEU had the opportunity to participate actively in an important event organised by Cobaty International -an ECTP-CEU partnership member- and Cobaty Italia in #Milan, Italy. The title was ‘#Quality in the #construction of the built environment in the light of the new #norm – an inter-professional approach’.

ECTP-CEU vice president Markus Hedorfer participated representing the European #spatial #planners. Other professions who spoke at the conference were architects, engineers, builders, developers, legal experts, notaries, economists, EU decision makers ; it was a brilliant opportunity to work on vertical expertise integration around the construction sector, where spatial #planning must increase its role and become more proactive.

Special thanks go of course to Giovanni M. Bottini, president of Cobaty International and Laura Rocca, president of Cobaty Italia.

Excellence in Planning Education: Local, European & Global Perspective

In 2008 when Anna Geppert was editing the first issue of Planning Education, it was meant to be more an internal report providing the AESOP community with an impression of our debates, given the importance of the issues at stake. After more than 2,000 downloads, she realised that the AESOP community needed a platform for sharing ideas discussed during our meetings. The second issue of Planning Education, published in 2010, had grown to a 75-pages well-structured journal. Building on AESOP debates, it had a wider perspective and context.

This third issue continues this development. It reflects debates which have profoundly interested the AESOP community in recent years: how to manage planning schools in times of crisis (debated at the Heads of Schools meeting in 2012 in Ås); how to bridge education and practice (discussed at Heads of Schools in 2013 in Gdańsk and 2014 in Lisbon); what does the European dimension of planning and planners really mean, both in education and practice (discussions in Gdańsk and Lisbon); how to respond to the local, European and global challenges of planning and planning education (discussed in Lisbon and the Heads of Schools in 2015 in Madrid)…Each issue of Planning Education should offer at least a little innovation. This one proposes a new section, which I believe, would be especially interesting for our community: national case studies of the curricula in planning. I am delighted that Christophe Demazière has agreed to do the first of this hopefully permanent section with the case study of France. I am convinced that sharing our knowledge about planning programmes will contribute to the general quality of our pedagogy. This issue discusses quality recognition and AESOP’s role in this process. The focus of Planning Education No 3 is the future. However paradoxically, we start with a re-working of the famous Klaus Kunzmann paper „Unconditional Surrender” presented at the 2004 AESOP Congress. What has been foreseen in Grenoble is even more evident in our 2015 Congress in Prague. I am delighted that Klaus Kunzmann has agreed to develop his inspiring paper, discussing the „Challenges of Planning Education in Times of Globalisation”. This is a thoughtful contribution to the development of our profession, including education.

I am very grateful to my colleagues, who, in spite of their busy schedules, have prepared outstanding papers for this issue, with a special word of gratitude to Anna Geppert, who was constantly encouraging me to complete this issue, and to Klaus Kunzmann, whose stimulating support, exceptional contribution and unquestionable wisdom has helped to complete the structure of Planning Education you are about to read.

The 7th World Urban Forum

The 7th World Urban Forum ( WUF ) will be held in Medellin (Colombia) from 5 to 11 April 2014.
The WUFs are the biggest events centred around human habitat . These are biannual events organized by UN-HABITAT, where meet and discuss governments, local authorities, NGOs , financial groups, academics, private businesses, professionals and any interested person or institution.
The ECTP-CEU will attend the next WUF as at the two previous editions ( Naples 2012, Nairobi 2010).
At the 7th WUF in Medellin, ECTP- CEU has an active presence as one of 17 members of the Habitat Professionals Forum , the global organization that brings together all professionals in connection with human settlements ( urban planners, geographers , architects, economists , engineers, etc. . )
ECTP-CEU will also take part be in the steering committee of the World Urban Campaign UN- HABITAT.
On the other hand, ECTP-CEU will contribute as planning consultants to various meetings in relation to the Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU), signed between ECTP-CEU and UN-HABITAT.
Finally the ECTP-CEU will participate in two official public events of WUF:
7 April at 11am in the Urban Library Room , and
10 April, at 2pm at the Round Table of Practitioners.
The interventions of the ECTP-CEU will focus on The Charter of European Planning.

For a Europe of regions and cities: the view of young people

As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, the Committee of the Regions (CoR) will be inviting some 150 young people from a variety of youth organisations and European political parties, including students and interns from the EU institutions, the regional representation offices and Brussels-based think-tanks. They will discuss the future of a multi-level Europe and of the CoR itself, the only EU institution that truly represents the views of Europe’s cities and regions. In tandem with the CoR’s internal reflection process, the event aims to elicit some feedback from the younger generation about what form they expect the CoR to take in the next 20 years. The young people involved will be asked to present the results of their discussions during the 20th anniversary ceremony to be held in the European Parliament during the CoR Plenary on 2 April. This will be followed by an exchange of views with CoR members.

Who should participate?

As a general rule, participants should not be older than 30 years and should belong to one of the categories below:

Members of youth organisations or young members of European political parties selected by the CoR’s political groups;
Holders of a Master or a PHD in European affairs;
Interns from the EU institutions, regional representation offices in Brussels and major Brussels-basedthink-tanks.

Interested members of youth organisations, students and interns should submit their application by 7 March 2014. The CoR will select 150 participants taking into account a good geographical and gender balance, and will inform them by mid-March,. The CoR cannot reimburse travel and/or accommodation costs. The conference will be prepared in cooperation with universities in Belgium. The Plenary and the closing session will be webstreamed live. Please check this website regularly for updates.
